Our Aim:

The PA Committee aims to raise additional funds to provide the school with many extras that would otherwise not be available from the annual school budget.

Our function is mainly fundraising but we also believe that it is important to nurture and entertain our children through social and fun events whilst fundraising for the benefit of the whole school.

How we raise funds:

By arranging fun activities for both children and adults.

Fund raising events this year included: Spring fete, Mad Hatters tea party, popcorn ‘movie’ nights, ice cream Fridays, vintage tea parties, Christmas party & disco, bake sale, costume themed mufti days and Quiz nights.

How the money is spent:

Funds raised by the PA Committee are intended to provide extras and entertainment not already provided by the school.

Here are just some of the things we have funded so far:

State-of-the-art projector and electronic white board for the school hall

Year 6 Harvington logo hoodies as souvenir leaving gifts & leaving party

Wooden playground equipment / hopscotch / snakes & ladders floor playground puzzles

Harvington logo netball vests

Golden Jubilee bears for each pupil / Royal wedding commemorative mug

Personalised tea towels / personalised Christmas cards

Who can join the PA?

All parents with children at Harvington are welcome to join as a Class Representative.

The PA Committee is helped and supported by Class Representatives who work with the Committee to run and coordinate events. This includes helping at the events, staffing stalls, and also setting up and clearing away.
