PRIZE GIVING

As a result of the government announcement delaying the easing of restrictions, it will unfortunately not be possible to have parents in school for the Prize Giving celebrations. These will be recorded however, for all parents to see.

YEAR 6 PRODUCTION

Year 6 are rehearsing Tom’s Midnight Garden with Mr Grant and will be performing this on Monday 5th July in the morning and on Tuesday 6th July in the morning and in the afternoon. As there will be three performances, we will be able to invite Year 6 parents to come in and watch this, in small groups of less than six per performance, following government guidelines. More details to follow.

SPORTS DAY

Our Sports Day will take place on Monday 5th July at 2.00pm at The Cricket Club in Corfton Road. As this is an outdoor event, the government guidance allows us to have multiple bubbles of 30. As such and having discussed this with the cricket club, we are inviting one parent per family to join us and attend in person. We have been asked by the cricket club to let parents know that they may bring their own picnic blankets or chairs to sit on, or they may use the benches in the grounds, but to please not move any of the furniture. The parents’ areas will be clearly marked. The Café will be open to parents as will the lavatories. Children will have had lunch at school and will not therefore be given any snacks and it will not be possible for parents to mix with the children until dismissal time. We will provide bottles of water for the children, but they may also bring their own water bottles. Masks are required to be worn by parents. Dismissal will be staggered and as follows:

Nursery and Transition : 3pm – 3.30pm

1 & 2 : 3.45pm-3.50pm

3 & 4 : 3.50pm – 3.55pm

5 & 6 : 3.55pm – 4pm

Professional photographers will be attending the Sports Day as they did last Sports Day and they will also take photographs of the Year 6 production. Photos will be available through a private link for parents to purchase, should they wish.
