COVID CASES
We are conscious of the number of rising cases of Covid at school and as such, we are constantly reviewing our Christmas events, especially our Carol Service. At this moment in time, we are planning that it will go ahead with yourselves in attendance as planned. (I am sorry
if a final decision is left to the last minute and we will try to avoid that if possible) The details are as follows:
CHRISTMAS PARTIES
Our school Christmas parties will take place on Wednesday 15th December. Children may come to school wearing Christmas jumpers / Christmas related clothes. This is an attempt to enter into the spirit
of the festive season and the spirit of our parties and to make the effort to dress up in an imaginative and thoughtful fashion. Christmas lunch will be served, after which the parties begin and at the end of the day, all children will meet Santa and receive a small gift
from him.
CAROL SERVICE
Our Carol Service will be on Thursday 16 th December at 12.00pm in St Peter’s Church, Mount Park Road, Ealing. We hope that you will join us for what promises to be a splendid occasion and a very important school event. All children from Nursery – Year 6 will be taking
part. The children must not bring hats or school bags with them on that day. I would like to respectfully remind you that photography is not customary or appropriate in a place of worship and talking whilst
waiting for the service to begin, must be kept to a minimum. The girls will NOT be returning to school and must, therefore, be collected from St Peter’s at 12.45 after the Carol Service. There will be no school
lunch. Please note the school office will be closed after 11.00am on that day. Masks must be worn by parents.
NATIVITY
Our Christmas Nativity involves Nursery, Transition, Year 1 and Year 2. Unfortunately, as with most schools this Christmas yet again, we are not able to invite parents to watch. We are hoping that the children will have the audience of the rest of the school to perform
to, but this too is under review and will be decided upon at the last minute.
CLUBS & AFTER SCHOOL CARE
A reminder that clubs have now finished until next term. After School Care on Monday 13th and Tuesday 14th finishes at 6.00pm and on Wednesday 15th at 5.00pm. There is no After School Care on Thursday 16th December.
YEAR 1
DATES FOR YOUR DIARY:
- Wed 15th Dec – After School Care finishes at 5pm
- Thurs 16th Dec – Christmas Carol Service (St Peter’s Church, Mount Park Rd) 12 midday –parents welcome, details to follow.
