We are humbled by your generosity and your attendance to the coffee morning earlier today. It was so good to see so many of you after such a long period of time. It was very moving especially to hear of children who donated their own pocket money and some, their entire Christmas money for this cause! Ms Sehmbhy and Year 6 raised over £120 through the sale of bows and hairbands that they made themselves. So many of you generously donated and together with staff and the school, we have raised £1,000. This amount will be doubled through the generosity of actors such as Emma Thompson, DOUBLE THE LOVE. And so, through the efforts of such a small community, Harvington Prep School will have generated £2,000 for Mary’s Meals. What an achievement. Thank you! Bows and hairbands will be on sale next week too if you missed yours, the children will be able to buy them during break times. £5 will give them a choice.
