COMIC RELIEF

We will be selling red noses during the week of 14th March and the children may come to school wearing their own clothes on Friday 18th March.

BOOK WEEK

Book Week begins on Monday 14th March. We have many activities taking place during that week, including a dance workshop, a visit to the local Ealing library, a book swap, a book character day and story readings. In addition, the children have all been given a World Book Day voucher to put towards buying their favourite book. Readathon is a very important part of our Book Week.

READATHON

‘Readathon does something amazing. We get children reading for fun through our sponsored read in schools. The money raised provides children’s hospitals with regular storyteller visits, plus a mobile bookcase jam-packed full of brand-new books, which are replenished every six weeks.’

In order to allow for plenty of time to read as many books as possible, we are asking children to start reading as from now and we have given them a sponsorship form each. That way, by the time we come to the end of Book Week, there will have been lots of reading done! This is a really worthwhile charity, so please sponsor the children generously.

COVID

Please note that anyone testing positive for Covid is asked to follow the government guidance and recommendation to stay at home despite the fact that this is no longer a legal requirement.
